PULSED LIGHT REJUVENATION PHOTO
Is a tailor-made platform that uses two different technologies depending on the indications to be treated: either a non-ablative fractional laser or intense pulsed light (IPL).
Indications: Improvement of skin lesions
IPL treats a large number of skin imperfections on all skin colors (phototypes I to IV). Stretch marks (thighs, buttocks and stomach). Scars: acne scars, chicken pox scars, post-surgical scars, post-traumatic scars. Skin resurfacing: fine lines, wrinkles on the face, irregularities in skin texture. Melasma (pregnancy mask). Varicosity on the legs. Rosacea and erythrosis (nose, cheeks, chin). Pigment spots (brown spots, solar lentigines) on the face, décolleté, back of the hands.
Following the treatment
There is redness for one to two days maximum (sunburn effect) and the surface layer of the skin peels. This is why you must apply a soothing, moisturizing and restorative cream in the days following the treatment. It is also necessary to put on a total sunscreen sunscreen for two weeks.
The heat produced by the machine will stimulate fibroblaster and collagen synthesis.
This treatment uses intense pulsed light energy in two wavelengths, which provides a significant advantage: the reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and the increase in firmness and elasticity of the skin are obtained at using longer spokes. They penetrate deeper into the epidermis. The heat they generate stimulates the activity of fibroblast cells, which increase the production of collagen and elastin, making the skin firmer and more supple.
The course of the session
IPL emits a beam of light that targets water and melanin in the upper and middle layers of the skin as well as the hemoglobin present inside red blood cells.
The heat generated by the laser or the intense pulsed light activates the renewal of the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin. There is an improvement in texture, color and skin tension.
At most, the patient feels a sensation of heat and a small tingling sensation. You can apply an anesthetic cream thirty minutes before the session.
A session lasts between fifteen and thirty minutes. A treatment includes three to five sessions spaced one month apart.
Intense pulsed light
Intense pulsed light (IPL) emits on several wavelengths (wide spectrum of light ranging from 500 to 1200 nm), its beam is not coherent and therefore the energy delivered is lower than that of the laser but sufficient to treat superficial skin imperfections. Red stretch marks When the stretch marks are recent so red they are treated with the Icon® Max G (vascular handpiece) to remove the red side of the stretch mark and then we go to handpiece 1540 to smooth out the stretch mark.
